Nancy Everitt, wife of Thomas J. Everitt, died at the homestead, south west of Vienna, on last Thursday, after a lingering illness. Before her marriage her name was Ray, being a sister of the late John Ray. She was in her seventy-fourth year. She was a noble, Christian woman, full of the milk of human kindness, a devoted wife and mother, and loved by all who knew her. Her funeral took place Friday, the burial being at the Everitt graveyard. Owing to the extreme cold, funeral services were held at the home, Rev. Machian, of the M.E. church officiating.
