~♥~♥~ Rest In Sweet Peace, My Blue-Eyed Handsome Man, I'll Love You Forever ~♥~♥~
For almost 2 years, I have not been able to stay up to date with Edit Requests and Transfer Requests via my personal email. I was caring for my recently deceased (Jan. 31, 2017) love of my life, James Richard Hayes, Jr. who had suffered a severe stroke and later was diagnosed with Stage 4 Metastatic Lung Cancer. I will be doing my best to "catch up" on all the requests, as I still have all of your emails, but it is going to take some time. Please bear with me. Thank you!
I have been doing family research for a little over 40 years now (began in 1976). I originally started working mainly on my LOCKLIN family. Over the years I have expanded my work on various family lines. Currently I am focusing on the following:
My Paternal Lines:
LOCKLIN, FOKES, McLENNAN, FULCHER, MERCER, ZACHRY, GUTHRIE, BURKE, SMITH, LARGE, PAGE and many others connected to these surnames.
My Maternal Lines:
BENAD, HERRING, WALL, STEELE
My Sons' (Trent & Terry) Paternal Lines:
TAYLOR, GARNER, GRAY, DANCER, RUNNELS, WINKLER, PASEMANN
My Granddaughter's (Kayrinn) Maternal Lines:
HURT, RODGERS, ASHLEY, BIEHLE
My Grandson's (Colby) Maternal Lines:
HILL, LOVE, WEBB, BIEHLE
My Very Significant Other's (JR) Lines:
HAYES, BRANSON, BREWER, PITTMAN
If you are related to any of these lines, please contact me.
I have created a LOCKLIN group page on Facebook titled Descendants of Samuel Locklin (1744-????). If you are a descendant of Samuel Locklin, please contact me on Facebook so I can add you to the group page. Currently, we over 300 descendants in the group. We are sharing photos, stories and other information on the group page. It is a "private" group which is by invitation only and only those in the group can read the posts and information and view the photos added there.
My profile name on Facebook is:
Sarah Locklin Taylor.

I am very sorry to hear about your loss and i certainly understand taking care of your loved one took precedence over everything else. I appreciated your note and I thank you for all the work you are doing. I think this website is such a great way to preserve and share little gems of information that I come across. I suspect you and I may also be cousins. You will come across some emails I sent about some common family members whose memorials you have created or commented on, although I can't remember who they are at this time. Kevin
I didn't see the other memorial? Did I send you the delete request? I'm usually pretty good at checking dates first.
I will gladly delete mine and you don't have to transfer it. Just be sure to add his wife to the memorial. Thank you so much for all the help.
I'm sorry for the loss of your significant other/husband. Prayers for you and your family.
I think I messed the message up that I sent as a correction. I even get confused w/o looking at them. She does need to be moved to the other cemetery though. #1 is black; #2 is white that has Glenn, Griffeth's, Hitchcock's and Sim's.

My condolences Sarah...

#23369855 Thank you for taking care of this edit. So sorry to hear about your recent loss. You & your family are in our prayers to give you strength. Thank you for all the hard work you have put in over the years.
|Jerry Flook||RE: MARTHA ARDELIA SNODGRASS LESLIE|
My source of info on the burial of M. A. Snodgrass is personal communication several years ago with a sister-in-law of George Leslie, Martha's son. This woman was the sister of George Leslie's wife and lived with George's family at the time of the burial and remembered it clearly.

My apologies. I have gone back and looked at the Find a Grave bio and obviously I misinterpreted it. I says that the convention met in Mercer's building and wrote the Declaration and Constitution. I initially read it as saying that Mercer did the writing. Sorry for the mixup.
Frankly, when I misread it I was surprised because you have obviously done much careful research. There is so much genealogical misinformation on Find a Grave and elsewhere that I suppose I have a bad attitude and am expecting more of the same. Again, my apologies to you.

Thank you so much for posting so much information in her memorial as well as the memorial itself. I am tracing descendants of my ancestors; Liles is one of my lines so that makes her a distant cousin by marriage. Thanks again.

Sarah.... Sorry for the delay in answering. Been without internet for several months.. Using McDonald WiFi today.
I will research your question and get back to you ASAP.
We visited Locklin Cemetery since the first of 2017. I want to use Dousing Rods to see if I can determine the gender of the babies on "Heartache Row". (13 graves. All unmarked.)I Perhaps you would like to be there when I do it. I have been successful at Boonvile Cemetery. If I have a problem, I know someone who is better than I.
