Morgan Jones. Morgan Jones, 79, of 365 Blackman street, Wilkes-Barre, died Saturday at the General Hospital, Wilkes-Barre.
Born at Drifton April 6, 1876, he was a son of the late David and Ellen Jones and had resided at Wilkes-Barre since 1902. For many years he was employed as a moulder by the Royer Foundry and Machine Company, retiring in 1951.
Surviving are his wife, the former Blanche Kloss; a son, Morgan Jr., Warrendale, Pa.; a daughter, Mrs. Karl Plantarich, Wilkes-Barre, and a grandson, Morgan C. Jones.
Mr. and Mrs. Jones were married July 5, 1897 at Upper Lehigh and celebrated their 57th wedding anniversary last year.
The funeral will be held from the Homer E. Graham Funeral Home Tuesday afternoon at 2. Burial will be in Maple Hill cemetery.
