Mrs. Morgan Jones, 85, of 365 Blackman street, Wilkes-Barre, died Tuesday morning at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital where she had been a patient since December 1. The former Blanche Kloss, she was born in Upper Lehigh, daughter of David and Elizabeth (Campbell) Kloss.
She located in Ashley 62 years ago and moved to Wilkes-Barre in 1942. The deceased was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Wilkes-Barre, Blue Ridge Chapter 140 OES; Calvary Shrine 20, Order of White Shrine; and Irem Women's Auxillary. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Karl Plantarich, Wilkes-Barre; a son, Morgan W. Jones Warrendale; and two grandsons. The funeral will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. in St. John's Lutheran Church, Wilkes-Barre. Rev. Clarence Schaffer will officiazte.
Interment will be in Maple Hill Cemetery, Hanover Township. Friends may call at the Graham Funeral Home, 324 South Franklin street, Wilkes-Barre, tomorrow from 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
