The Wilkes-Barre Record (Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania), Saturday, February 28, 1947, pg 21. Mrs. Robert Howe, well known resident of Freeland for many years, died yesterday morning at her home following a long illness, according to word received by local relatives.
She is survived by her husband and four daughters, Mrs. James Boyle, Mrs. Clyde Bell of Freeland; Mrs. Robert MacAfee of Hazleton and Mrs. Reyburn Fritz of Reading; two brothers, George Kloss of Laurytown; Ira Kloss of Wilkes-Barre, and sons sister, Mrs. Morgan Jones of Wilkes-Barre. The late Mrs. Edward Shafer of Ridge Street, Ashley, was a sister.
The funeral will be held from the home of her daughter, Mrs. Clyde Bell, Front Street, Freeland, on Monday afternoon at 2. Interment will be in Freeland.
