Lottie J. Delikat of Nicholson Street, Wilkes-Barre Township, passed away Sunday, July 11, 2010, at Hospice Care of the VNA Inpatient Unit at Heritage House, Wilkes-Barre.
Born May 13, 1920, in Wilkes-Barre, she was a daughter of the late John and Sophie Slupcinski Chmiel.
Lottie attended GAR High School, Wilkes-Barre, and was employed by the area garment industry. She was a former member of Holy Rosary Church, Ashley.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Theodore in 1961; son, Theodore, in 2004; granddaughter, Amanda Picketts, in 2009; sister, Josephine Gavis; brother, Frank Chmiel.
Surviving are her daughter, Margie Dreier and her husband, A.J., Wilkes-Barre Township; grandchildren, Joseph and Lisa Dreier and Amy O'Hara; great-grandchildren, Avery Picketts and Quinn O'Hara; brother, John Chmiel, Wilkes-Barre.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 5 p.m. Wednesday at St. Stanislaw Church, North Main Street, Wilkes-Barre. Family will receive friends at the church from 4:30 p.m. until the time of Mass.
Arrangements are entrusted to Jendrzejewski Funeral Home, Wilkes-Barre.
