Marshalltown--Noland D. Cox, 71, of Marshalltown died of a heart ailment Wednesday at home. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at First Baptist Church of Marshalltown, of which he was a member. Burial, with military rites, will be at Riverside Cemetery there. Mr. Cox was born in Marshalltown and had lived there most of his life. He had worked for Fisher Controls before retiring and was an Army veteran of the Korean War. He is survived by his wife, Kathryn; three sons, Philip of Marshalltown, David of Madera, Calif., and Timothy of Johnston; two daughters, Denise Cox and Mary Cox, both of Marshalltown; a sister, Patricia Dowd of Las Vegas; and three grandchildren. Friends may call after 1 p.m. Sunday at Estel-Perrin-Avey Funeral Home in Marshalltown, where the family will be present from 4 to 6 p.m.
