Patricia Janese Doud, 71, of Las Vegas, formerly of Marshalltown, died Friday, April 1st, at her home in Las Vegas while in care of Hospice. Pat had graciously donated her body to the University of Nevada. There will be no services. Friends may call the Mitchell Family Funeral Home 844-1234, for further information. Born on August 20th, 1933, in Marshalltown, she was the daughter of Harold and Mabel Cox. She received her education in the area of her birth and graduated from the Marshalltown High School. In later years, she resided in Las Vegas. Left to mourn her loss are her son Bradley (fiancé Cassie) Doud of Las Vegas, and local survivors include sister-in-law Kathy Cox of Marshalltown, nieces and nephews Denise and Mary Cox of Marshalltown, Phil Cox of Marshalltown, David Cox of Fresno, CA, and Tim Cox of Johnston, Iowa, uncles and aunts Charles and Ida Specht of Marshalltown and Dwight and Pauline Stevens of Altoona, Iowa, and several cousins. In death she has rejoined her son Mark, parents Harold and Mabel and brother Nolan Cox.
