JOSEPH SAMUEL HARRISON

Joseph Samuel (Sam) Harrison, a lifetime resident of Emporia, died Monday noon in his home, 911 Sylvan St.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Roberts-Blue-Barnett Chapel. They will be conducted by the Rev. W. A. Chambers, pastor of the St. James Baptist Church. Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery.

Mr. Harrison, the son of Leslie and Ella Clay Harrison, was born Feb. 25th, 1904, in Emporia. He was a veteran of World War II. He was preceded in death by his parents and he is survived by three brothers, Otis of Americus; LeRoy, of 324 Carter St.; and Leslie, Jr., of 1010 Sylvan St., and two sisters, Mrs. Eugene Allen, Rt. 3, and Mrs. Wardie Mitchell, 401 Carter St.
