Wilhelm Annen was the first child born to John Annen and Louise Christina W. Rachel/Rasel. He was born in Carroll, Carroll, IA before they moved to Texas. He was married to Emma Bowman on Jan 5, 1908. He registered for the WWI draft on 9/12/18. He died in 1919 and their last child was about 3 months old. She was left with 6 children. She and the children were living with one of her brothers Edward Bowman on the 1930 census. Their children were Mary Louise and husband, Louis Mack Moses Sprinkle; Alice Christine and husband, William Martin Ballweg; Bertha Elizabeth and husband, Cecil Ray Furman; Pearl Lorene and husband, Lew Turner; Charles Wilhelm Annen and wife, Nell Minerva; and John Henry Annen and wife Nancy Hart.
