Hinton, Aug. 1 Funeral services for George D. Bartgis, of Lewisburg, a former Hinton resident, will be conducted at 2:30 o'clock Thursday afternoon at the E.M. Meadows Funeral Home on Park Avenue, by the Rev. C. H. Martin, pastor of the Bellepoint Baptist Church, and burial will follow in the Ballengee Cemetery at Bellepoint.
Survivors include his mother, Mrs. L. N. Bartgis of Tunnel Hill; a son, K. T. Bartgis of Bellepoint; three daughters: Mrs. Earl Cathers of Bluefield; Mrs. R. H. Morris of Charleston, S.C., and Mrs. Ernest Lafon of Pearisburg, Va.; three sisters: Mrs. Howard Miller of Hinton, Mrs. T. H. Hedrick of Clarksburg; and Mrs. Blanche Cook of California; and four brothers: John H. Bartgis of Bellepoint; Howard J. Bartgis of Tunnel Hill; William R. Bartgis of Talcott, and Joe Bartgis of Smyrna Beach, Fla.
