Funeral arrangements are incomplete for Howard J. (Mack) Bartgis, 64, of Hilldale, who died at 6 p.m. today at his home from an apparent heart attack.
He was an engineer for the Chesapeake and Ohio Railroad and a member of Mount Pisgah Church.
Born in Summers County, he was a son of the late Lewis and Margaret Seldomridge Bartgis.
Survivors include his wife, Pearl Bartgis; two sons, Jerry, Richmond, Va., and K. R., Hampton, Va.; three daughters, Mrs. Charles H. (Jean) Jones, Hinton, Mrs. Donna Semonco, Tazewell, Va., and Mrs. Leroy (Linda) Walker, Alderson; two brothers, John, Hinton and Joe, Beckley; two sisters, Mrs. Nora Hedrick, New Smyrna Beach, Fla., and Mrs. Blanche Cook, Los Angeles, Calif.
