HINTON Jan. 6 - Mrs. Willie Margaret Bartgis, 85, widow of the late L. N. Bartgis, died at 8:30 o'clock this morning at the home of her son, J. H. (Mack) Bartgis on Tunnel Hill.
She had been in ill health for several years and bedfast for the past three months.
Born at Maxwellton, Greenbrier County, March 23, 1867, she was a daughter of the late Billy and Elizabeth Seldomridge, and was a member of the First Baptist church.
She is survived by the following children: Mrs. Howard Miller, Hinton; Mrs. Blanche Cook, Los Angeles, Calif.; Mrs. Nora Hedrick, Orlando, Florida; W. E. Bartgis, Meadow Bridge; John Bartgis, Bellepoint; Joe L. Bartgis, of Florida, and J. H. Bartgis, Tunnel Hill.

Funeral Set For Margaret Bartgis
HINTON Jan. 7 - Funeral services for Mrs. Margaret Bartgis, 85, who died Tuesday morning, will be conducted at the First Baptist Church at 2:30 p.m. Friday afternoon by the pastor, Rev. H. U. Thompson, assisted by Rev. Cornelius DeBlock, of Bellepoint. Burial will be in Hilltop Cemetery.
