Mrs. Fannie Belle Lewis Yarbrough, 63, died this morning at 8:15 at Memorial Hospital following an operation of several days ago. She had been in failing health for several months.

She was born and lived all her life in the Mercer community. She was a member of the Maple Springs Baptist Church.

Survivors are her husband George William Yarbrough; three sons Benton Franklin Yarbrough and Otha William Yarbrough, both of Mercer, and George Douglas Yarbrough of Milan; her father, Carrol Benton Lewis of Mercer; and four sisters, Mrs. Lula Byrum, Mrs. Minnie Byrtim, and Mrs. Wilma Wiggins, all of Mercer, and Mrs. Lela Yarbrough of Natalia, Texas.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Maple Springs Baptist Church by the Rev. Alvin West. Burial will be in the Maple Springs Cemetery with Smith Funeral Home in charge.

Pallbearers, who are requested to meet at the home of Benton Franklin Yarbrough, where the body will be until the funeral hour, are to be Charlie Morris, Vester Taylor, J. C. Huckabee, Charlie Pentecost, George Pentecost and W. M. Huckabee.
