He was born and reared near Mercer, TN, son of the late George William and Fanny Lewis Yarbrough. He had lived in Humboldt for the past three months, moving here from Waddell, Mo. He was a Baptist.
He was the husband of Mrs. Bessie Simmer Yarbrough, who survives.
Mr. Yarbrough also leaves two sons, Oscar Yarbrough and Otha W. Yarbrough Jr. of Humboldt; four sisters, Mrs. Tom Lewis of Mercer, Mrs. Raymond Hayes of Brownsville, Mrs. Johnny Johnson of Hayti, Mo., and Miss Maxie Yarbrough of Humboldt; two brothers, George Douglas Yarbrough of Chicago and Benton Franklin Yarbrough of Bolivar; and five grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 PM. Friday at Hunt Funeral Home in Humboldt with burial in Maple Springs Cemetery in Madison County.
