Helen was born Jan. 29, 1913 in Harbor Heights, Wis. to John and Elizabeth (Ohl) Rosenbauer.
In 1942 she was united in marriage to Nicholas Spannagle in San Luis Obispo, Calif. Following Nick’s military career the couple came to Sheboygan to make their home. They established Spannagle Poultry, a wholesale poultry business they operated in Sheboygan for over 40 years. Nick preceded her in death on April 1, 2003.
Mrs. Spannagle was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Sheboygan and former member of the Horseless Carriage Club.
Survivors include a brother-in-law, Otto Spannagle and nieces and nephews.
