Edna E. Arnold, age 91, a former Kiel resident died Friday evening, Nov. 16, 2001 at the Calumet Homestead in New Holstein where she had been a resident for the past three years. The former Edna Rosenbauer, she was born on Oct. 29, 1910 in the Town of Schleswig the daughter of the late John and Elizabeth Uhl Rosenbauer. She attended grade school in Rockville. On June 30, 1938, she married Arthur Arnold in Kiel. He died Feb. 23, 1955.
She was a member of St. Peter's UCC in Kiel and the Women's Guild. Edna enjoyed gardening and crocheting hangers.
Survivors are one son, Henry Arnold of Dillsburg, Pa.; and one daughter, Mrs. Chalmer Strasser of Dover, Pa.; three grandsons, Daniel (Lisa) Strasser and James (Cindy) Strasser, all of Dover, Pa.; and John Strasser of Hanover, Pa.; two sisters, Vera Ehrich and Helen (Nick) Spannagle, all of Sheboygan. She was preceded in death by four sisters and one brother.
