Princess Kathleen Aab, 81, died at 4:01 a.m. Feb. 20, 2013, at her residence.

She was born March 20, 1931, in Garrett, Ky., to Elliott and Martha Smith Prater Sr., who preceded her in death. On Sept 12, 1957, she married Robert J. Aab, who died Feb. 12, 2003.

Mrs. Aab was a homemaker. She was a member of Waynesfield Baptist Church, Waynesfield, and was attending Living Water Fellowship. She enjoyed sewing, making crafts and oil painting. One of her oil paintings is hanging on the wall behind the baptistery in Waynesfield Baptist Church. She was a proud American Republican.

Survivors include two sons, Paul "Mike" (Barb) Holbrook and Adam G. (Mary) Holbrook, both of Lima; a daughter, Rhonda G. (Robert E.) Mowery, of Lima; two stepdaughters, Sharon M. Gist, of Russells Point, and Dana M. Winegardner, of Pueblo, Colo.; 11 grandchildren, Jill Mowery, Paul Mowery, Erik (Michelle) Mowery, Beth (Craig) Kelly, Paul M. (Amber) Holbrook II, Christopher M. (Carolyn) Holbrook, Joseph M. (Jamie) Holbrook, Daniel Holbrook, Brian (Liz) Holbrook, Amanda Holbrook and Kellie Holbrook; 16 great-grandchildren; four brothers, Charles (Mary Jo) Prater, of Mount Sterling, Ky., Wayne (Georgia) Prater, of Lima, Elliott (Wilma) Prater, of Alger, Ed (Darlene) Prater, of Botkins; and five sisters, Billie Leis, of Sebring, Fla., Rheeta Burrell, of Lima, Irene Lane, of Columbus, Christine Paar, of McGuffey, and Jerri Lewis, of Kenton.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Gale Holbrook; three sisters, Audrey Gaskill, Wanda Hicks and Betty Holbrook; and infant brother, Elmer Prater; two infant granddaughters, Jenelle Kathleen and Jennifer Kaye Rosenquist; and an infant great-granddaughter, Jennah McKenzie Holbrook.

Services will begin at 11 a.m. Friday at Waynesfield Baptist Church, Waynesfield. Pastors Donald Smith and Rodger Hawkins and Chaplain Paul Michale Holbrook will officiate. Burial will be in St. Matthew Cemetery, Cridersville.
