Mrs. THELMA LAROTTA HARRISON, 80, of Brownsville died at the Washington County Hospital in Hagerstown, Wednesday afternoon, July 15. Born at Weaverton on Jan. 14, 1907, she was a daughter of Oliver M.C. and Emma Hoffman Younkins. She was predeceased by her husband, John H. Harrison, on July 31, 1980.

She was a member and deacon of Brownsville Church of the Brethren and she taught Sunday school classes for many years. She was a past matron on the Olive Branch Chapter 34 O.E.S. of Keedysville. She was a charter member at the Pleasant Valley Senior Citizens Association.

She is survived by three daughters, R. Kathleen Boward, Hagerstown, Betty Proctor, Brownsville, Margaret Harrison, Washington, DC; four sisters, Rhoda Tritapoe, Knoxville, Ruth Bierly, Frederick, Eva Spencer and Gladys Gordon, both of Baltimore; 5 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; 13 foster daughters; and 23 foster grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at the Brownsville Church of the Brethren; burial was in the Brownsville Cemetery; arrangements were by the Bast Funeral Home, Boonsboro.
