William married Clemency B. Pribble (Preble) on October 10, 1833 in Ripley Co. They did not have any children but a nephew of William, John W. William, lived with them from the age of six years. He refers to Clemency as his aunt in a census.
William and Clemency owned their own farm and she and other members was buried on it. Some of the stones were moved to nearby Bethel Cemetery.
