Mrs. Aglere Tremblay died last evening at her late residence, 25 Cottage Street, after a short illness. She was born in Westport, but was a resident of the North End for many years where she was well known and respected by all who knew her. She was a kindly neighbor and many expressions of regret were heard this morning when the news of her death was made known. She is survived by her husband, Edward Tremblay; two daughters, May Tremblay and Mrs. Geraldine Dion; one son, Francis; her mother, Mrs. Florence Stevens; one brother, George Stevens, and seven sisters, Mrs. Edmond Morin, Mrs. August Levesque, Mrs. Francis Ouilette, Mrs. Thomas Cing-mars, Mrs. Holiday Paradise, Mrs. Louise Frazier, all of this city, and Mrs. Joseph Bachand of Fall River. She was a communicant of St. Jacques Church and was a member of the St. Ann sodality.
