On February 17, 1896 in Taunton, MA, Edmond Morin, 28, a blacksmith born in Canada to Joseph & Josephine, married Locadie Stevens, 22, a warper tender born in Westport, MA to Joseph & Florestine. This was the first marriage for both.

In this city Apr 30, 1959, Locadie (Stevens) Morin, wife of the late Edmund Morin of 26 Russell Street, aged 85 years. Funeral from the Riendeau Funeral Home Monday morning at 8 o’clock followed by a Solemn high mass of requiem in St. Jacques Church at 9 o’clock. Burial in St. Joseph’s Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.

Mrs. Locadie (Stevens) Morin, 85, wife of the late Edmund Morin, 26 Russell Street, died Thursday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Henry (Florence) Bissonnette, 26 Russell Street, following a long illness. Mrs. Morin formerly resided at 8 Taylor Street. Born in Westport, Mrs. Morin was the daughter of the late Joseph and Florestine (Gagnon) Stevens and resided in Taunton most of her life. She was a communicant of St. Jacques Church and a member of St. Anne’s Sodality.
In addition to her daughter, Mrs. Bissonnette, surviving are two other daughters, Mrs. Samuel (Eugenie) Lafleur and Mrs. Arthur (Mederise) Madden, both of Taunton. Also four sons, Edmund J. Morin of Waterbury, Connecticut; Louis E. Morin of Lawrence; Henry A. and Arthur E. Morin, both of Taunton. Also four sisters, Mrs. Adele Levesque, Mrs. Agnes Paradis, Mrs. Gertrude Frazier, all of Taunton and Mrs. Josephine Bachand of Portsmouth, RI; 17 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
