In this city Jun 10, 1943, Florestine (Gagnon), wife of the late Joseph Stevens, aged 88 years. Funeral from her late residence, 91 Kilmer Avenue Monday morning at 8 o'clock. Solemn high mass of requiem at St. Jacques Church at 9 o'clock. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Burial in St. Joseph's Cemetery.

Mrs. Florestine (Gagnon) Stevens, 88 widow of the late Joseph Stevens died at her late residence, 91 Kilmer Avenue, Thursday. She had been sick but a short time. Mrs. Stevens, who was well known throughout the city, was born in Canada and has lived here for over 60 years. She was a faithful communicant of St. Jacques Church and a late member of St. Anne Sodality. She is survived by seven daughters, Mrs. Edmond Morin, Mrs. Auguste Levesque, Mrs. Thomas Cinq-Mars, Mrs. Holida Paradis, and Mrs. Louis Frazier, all of this city; Mrs. Joseph Bachand of Fall River, and Mrs. Frank Ouillette of Brockton. She also leaves one son, George Stevens of Taunton and one sister, Miss Emma Gagnon of North Attleboro, and in addition 18 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
