Judy Carol (Pilgreen) Anvik, 50, of Fouke Ark., died Saturday, March 5, 2005, in a Texarkana hospital.
Mrs. Anvik was born May 26, 1954, in Cairo, Ill. She was a homemaker and a member of Assembly of God Church.
Survivors include her husband, Roger Anvik of Fouke; three sons, James Scott of Bismarck, N.D., Billy Anvik of Zap, N.D., and Cory Anvik of Mandan, N.D.; two daughters, Desiree Lehnherr and Roxanne Johnson of Fouke; five brothers, Gerald Pilgreen, Bob Pilgreen, Tim Pilgreen and Jim Pilgreen of Texarkana and John Pilgreen of Atlanta, Texas; one sister, Betty Luthe of Gillette, Wyo.; five grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.
Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday in Fouke Cemetery with the Rev. Travis Payne officiating. Burial will be under direction of Texarkana Funeral Home.
The family will be at the Anvik home in Fouke.
I met Judy in a grandparent's group on the internet several years ago. I also had the pleasure of meeting her and her husband in December of 2003 in person. We had a wonderful visit and they were a terrific couple.
Judy was on oxygen and had a great deal of trouble breathing. She ended up having to spend most of her time in an electric wheelchair shortly after she got home.
Now, she's with God in heaven and can breathe freely and easily. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
God bless you Judy.
Love,
Sue

Judy, another of our grannies has gone to be with Our Lord and I'm sure you're having a lovely reunion. She is our wonderful granny, Arlene Merritt who died on April 15, 2007. God bless you both.

I just learned that two of Judy's brothers have joined her in heaven. May they rest in peace.

Jimmy Wayne "J.W." Pilgreen, Sr who died on June 4, 2011 .
Gerald R. Pilgreen who died on February 6, 2012.
