Mrs. Anne M. Ebert, 88, of Rt. 1, Whitelaw, died Monday afternoon at Maple Crest Home, Whitelaw, where she had been residing since April 28, 1964.

Funeral services will be at 9:45 a.m. Thursday at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, and at10:30 a.m. at St. Michael Catholic Church, Whitelaw, the Rev. Francis Rose officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Ebert was born July 28, 1876 in the Town of Franklin, daughter of the late Andrew and Margaret Steiner Fritch. She was married to Jacob Ebert Sept. 5, 1898, at St. Mary Catholic Church, Clarks Mills, and they farmed in the
Town of Franklin. The couple observed its golden wedding anniversary in 1948 and Mr. Ebert died Aug. 23, 1950. Mrs. Ebert was a charter member of the Christian Mothers Altar Society of St. Michael Church.

Survivors are three daughters, Mrs. Walter Grimm of Mishicot, Mrs. Edward Goehring Sr., of Clarks Mills and Mrs. Margaret Brandel of Manitowoc; four sons, Joseph of Whitelaw, Andrew of Rt. 1, Cato, John E. of Rt. 1, Whitelaw, and Michael of Manitowoc; 39 grandchildren and 61 great grandchildren.

Two sons died in infancy and a son, Reinhart, died May 5, 1945. A sister and a brother also preceded her in death.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Wednesday where the Rosary will be recited by the society, parish and friends at 8 p.m.
