Jacob Ebert, 75, of route 1, Franklin, lifelong resident of the county, died Wednesday afternoon at the homestead farm in Franklin.
Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday at the home and at9:30 at the St. Michael church in Whitelaw. The Rev. John Husselein will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.

He was born in Whitelaw in 1875 and in 1898 married Miss Anna Fritsch. They located on the present farm. He was a member of the Holy Name Society. The couple observed its golden wedding anniversary in 1948.

Survivors are his wife; four sons, Joseph and John of Whitelaw, Andrew of Cato and Michael of this city; three daughters, Mrs. Walter Grimm of Mishicot, Mrs. Edward Goehring of Clarks Mills and Mrs. Edward Brandel of Kellnersville; brother, Joseph of Marshfield; 35 grandchildren and a great grandchild. A son, Reinhardt, died four years ago.
The casket was moved from the Pfeffer funeral home to the Ebert home this afternoon where the rosary will be recited at 8 o'clock tonight and Friday night.
