My Grandfather, William Ruthvan McFadin, but changed the spelling to McFadden, as it was signed until his death, My Grandfather was the second oldest child of George Edwin and Bertha Elizabeth (Graham) McFadin; he was born on March 31, Some stories tell that he was a "Fools Day" child and so his birthday has shown it to be the day before. He was born in Westphalia, Kansas and educated there also.
My Grandfather married Dorothy Lulu Olsen on May 20, 1920 and they had five (5) children from this marriage.
Grandfather was a long standing member of the OX5 Aviation Club, I have pictures of him and his plane.
He lived in Houston, Texas until he died in 1972.
Grandpa, I miss and love you dearly. I hope you watch over your great grandson, he never knew you; but with your love and understanding comfort him as we all love and miss him also.
