Robert E McFadden was the son of William Ruthven McFadden and Dorothy Lulu Olsen McFadden.

My memory of Uncle Robert was when I was about 10 years old, at my grandparents for a visit and Uncle Robert and his wife Jeanne and their daughter Judith or Judy stopped in on their way to a meeting or something and had dinner with us and stayed for the evening and my Grandmother was so delighted to see them that for days she talked about Uncle Robert and how she loved him so much, I know that she was very proud of him and his beautiful wife Jeanne and she gave hugs Judith more than she did me at the time, and I was a little jealous, but I got over it.

After that night I didn't get to see them as they made their home California or Washington, I am not sure of which state they lived in. But I wondered about what Uncle Robert's life and asked my mother about him offend as I remembered their daughter Judy and how we got along and she was very pretty and I wanted to be just like her. It saddens me to know that he is gone now, and so is Jeanne, but we will all meet again one day soon. Much Love and hugs goes to my Uncle and Aunt and I hope that one day I will be able to find or talk with my 1st cousin Judy...

In this picture that my mother gave me, shows him in the US Army, SSG in WORLD WAR II.
