Shirley is the eldest daughter to William R. and Dorothy (Olsen) McFadden, Shirley was born in Wichita, Kansas, and educated in Kansas and in California.
On 27th of September, Shirley married her sweetheart Raymond Harlow Richter at Yuma, Arizona. There was one child, a son, Robert Raymond. Their marriage ended in 1945.
On the 8th of August 1949, Shirley married for the second time to Wesley Robert Wyss. There were no children in this marriage. On 8th of June 1958 Wesley died, his Find-A-Grave memorial ID is 80896517. Shirley married for the third time to Arthur Peterpaul Grochowski in May 1976, and in June 1977, they divorced. There were no children from this marriage.
She kept herself busy with her rental homes and her garden and her friends from church.
Her career was a Secretary in the Physical Education Department for California State College, in San Bernardino. Shirley was interested in History and Genealogy. She is an inheriting member of the National Society of Magna Charta Dames. Shirley's faith in God was taught through the Christian Science Church.
