Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Oct. 3, at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Linton, with the Rev. Gary Benz officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. today at Myers Funeral Home, Linton, with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m.
Rose was born June 17, 1922, on a farm southeast of Linton, the daughter of George W. and Martha (Hagel) Bosch. She attended country school. As a young girl, she did housework and cared for mothers and babies after childbirth. Rose also worked in cafes and bakeries. Rose married Felix Bernhardt at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Nov. 20, 1956. They farmed together until retiring into Linton in 1997.
Rose was a member of the Christian Mothers Society at Sacred Heart and served as president for two years. Rose loved to cook and bake. She dearly loved her family and was always ready to help out whenever needed.
She is survived by her husband, Felix; one daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Brad Volk, Bismarck; a very special grandson, Blake Volk (13), Bismarck; one brother and sister-in-law, John and Luella Bosch, Mobridge, S.D.; and one sister, Helen Stoppler, Bismarck.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Jacob G. Bosch and Wendelin G. Bosch; and one sister, Barbara Bosch.
