Deloris M. "Del" Berrens, age 79, of 116 W. Chestnut St. in Chilton died on Friday January 20, 2006 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Appleton.
She was born February 15, 1926 in St. Joe daughter of the late Sylvester & Leona (Krebsbach) Zorn.
She married Eugene Berrens on October 9, 1948 at St. Augustine's Catholic Church in Chilton.
During her life, Deloris worked for Chilton Metal Products, was a member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church, the Christian Mothers, Legion Auxiliary, and TOPS. She also enjoyed camping at Shawano Lake with her husband, playing cards, taking trips to the Fire Side for shows, and spending time with her family.
Survivors include her husband Gene of Chilton; 3 children: Nancy (Bob) Harder of Chilton, Joan (Dale) Walber of Appleton, Thomas Berrens and special friend Julie Boesch of Chilton; 3 grandchildren: Kelly (Matt) Forster of Neenah, and Brittany & Brooke Berrens of Chilton; 1 great grandchild: Marcus Forster; and 4 sisters: Mary Berrens of Chilton, Sharon Zorn of Chilton, Patty (Bernard) Geiser and Debbie (Joe) Dotson of Chilton. Deloris is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
She was also preceded in death by an infant daughter: Jean; and 3 sisters: Ruth Bubolz, Gladys Immel, and Shirley Twinning.
Funeral services will be at 4:00 PM on Wednesday January 25, 2006 at Good Shepherd Catholic Church (54 E. Main St.) in Chilton with the Rev. Greg Smith officiating. Entombment will be in the Knollwood Mausoleum. Friends may call at the church from 12 noon - 4:00 PM on Wednesday January 25, 2006 when services will be held. A memorial fund has been established in the name of Deloris Berrens. Wieting Family Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
