Shirley Ann (Kees) Twining of Appleton, age 68, passed away on Tuesday, March 8, 2005 at Theda Clark Medical Center in Neenah, following a brief illness.

Shirley was born June 6, 1936 in St. Joe, Fond du Lac County, Wisconsin the daughter of the late Sylvester and Leona (Krebsbach) Zorn.

Shirley enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and singing Karaoke.

She is survived by her children: Thomas (Patricia Tucker-Kees) Kees, Neenah; Douglas (Nora Talbot-Kees) Kees, Menasha; Randy (Kristen) Kees, Neenah; Steve Kees, Florida; Vicky (Rick) Brunkey, Menasha; and 15 grandchildren, and three great grandchildren. Shirley is also survived by her sisters: Deloris (Gene) Berrens, Mary Berrens, Sharon Zorn , Patricia (Bernie ) Geiser, Debbie (Joe) Dotson, all of Chilton.

She was preceded in death by two sisters: Gladys Immel and Ruth Bubolz, and her stepfather Edward Berrens.

A memorial service for Shirley will be held on Monday, March 14, 2005 at 5:30 p.m. at the Laemmrich Funeral Home, 312 Milwaukee Street in Menasha. In lieu of flowers, a memorial is being established.
