CLEO M. BROOKS

Cleo M. Brooks, age 84, of 1618 Lowell St., Two Rivers, died on Monday morning, Jan. 5, 2009, at her residence.

Cleo was born on Aug. 14, 1924, in Laona, daughter of the late Raymond and Margaret (Kerstens) Hupf. On April 30, 1941, she married Francis J. Brooks at St. Leonard's Catholic Church in Laona. He preceded her in death on Feb. 20, 1994. Cleo was employed at Mirro Aluminum Company for 23 years until her retirement. She enjoyed being with her children, going to rummage sales, and watching Daniel O'Donnell videos. She was a member of St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church.

She was also preceded in death by one sister: Eleanor Fohrman; four brothers: Patrick, Erswood, Norman and Leslie Hupf; two grandchildren and a great-grandchild.

The funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 9, 2009, at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, Two Rivers. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. William O'Brien. Entombment will be at Knollwood Chapel Mausoleum, Highway 310, Manitowoc.

The family will greet relatives and friends on Friday, Jan. 9, 2009, at St. Peter
the Fisherman Church from 9 a.m. until 10:15 a.m. The Klein & Stangel Funeral Home and Cremation Care Center, Two Rivers, is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.

The family would like to thank Aurora VNA Hospice, especially Denise, Lindsey and Judy, for their care and compassion shown to our mom.
