Philip A. Conrad, Jr
Philip A. Conrad, Jr., of 817 First Street, Kiel, died Wednesday, August 31, 1988 at St. Nicholas Hospital, Sheboygan, following a brief illness.
He was born November 22, 1914 in the town of Russell, son of the late Phillip and Louisa (Haas) Conrad Sr. He attended schools in the Town of Russell. On May 22, 1937 he was married to Georgina Libke in Illinois.
Mr. Conrad was foreman at Tecumseh Products in New Holstein for 17 years. In 1954, he operated the former Conrad Standard Service Station in Kiel, until his retirement. He was a past president of Kiel Fish and Game Club and was a honorary member of the Kiel Redmen.
Survivors include his wife, Georgina, of Kiel; a son, glen of New Holstein; a grandson, Matthew; a brother, Oscar Conrad, New Holstein; a sister, Mrs. Esther Dekker, West Bend.
A daughter-in-law and three brothers preceded him in death.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 3, at Meiselwitz Funeral Home, Kiel, the Rev. James Sizelove, officiating. Entombment was in the Knollwood Mausoleum in the town of Kossuth. Meiselwitz Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
