June A. Endries, age 72, of 4527 county Highway CR, Manitowoc, died Saturday, Sept. 7, at her home. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 10, 2002 at St. Andrew Catholic Church, South 14 Street at Grand Avenue, Manitowoc. Rev. Camillus Janas, O.F.M. will officiate at the Mass of Christian Burial with entombment at Knollwood Chapel Mausoleum, Manitowoc.

June was born June 21, 1930 at Manitowoc, daughter of the late Lawrence and Florence Mrotek Ohlsen. Educated at Manitowoc and attended Lincoln High School.

Married to Lawrence H. Endries, Sept. 16, 1950 at St. Paul Catholic Church, Manitowoc. They celebrated 52 good years together. She was employed at Northern Lab and St. Mary Home as a housekeeper prior to her retirement. June was a member of St. Andrew Catholic Church, a former member of the Newton Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary, the Angel Society of the Manitowoc Health Care Center and volunteer at Manitowoc Senior Center. June loved her children, grandchildren, great grandchild, her flower gardens, traveling, and her cat, Cinder.

June is survived by her husband: Lawrence, Manitowoc; children include: Peter (Kathy) Endires, Manitowoc; Michael (Dawn) Endries, Manitowoc; David Endries, Manitowoc; Barbara (Leroy) Waack, Manitowoc; Kristine (Steven) Groening, Milwaukee; grandchildren: Peter, Jamie, Brent, Alicia and Lindsey Endries; Michael Jr. (Sara) Endries, Russel Endries; Patricia and Fawn Endries; Andrew, Jessica and Amy Waack; Rachael and Scott Groening; great grandson Alex Endries; sister and brother-in-law: Cheryl and Dave Bergene, Valders; brother and sister-in-law: James and Janet Ohlsen, Hilbert; brother: Tom Ohlsen, Potter; sister-in-law and brother-in-law: Marion (Don) Nickels, Tomah; Agnes (Tom) Yungwirth, Green Bay; Norma (Mike) Pagel, Brown Deer; brother-in-law: Andy Endries, Townsend; sister-in-law: Gladys Van Lannen, Cato; also survived by an aunt, cousins, nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Preceded in death by her parents, mother-in-law and father-in-law, and sisters: Betty and Bonnie and a brother-in-law: Richard Endries; and sister-in-law: Diane Endries.

Relatives and friend may call from 5 to 8 p.m. on Monday at the Reinbold & Pfeffer Family Funeral Home, 818 State Street, Manitowoc, and on Tuesday at St. Andrew catholic Church from 9 a.m. Tuesday to the time of service at 10 a.m. A Parish Prayer Service will be held at 7 p.m. Monday evening led by Sister Renee Delvaux.
