EDWIN H. GENZ
Edwin H. Genz, age 62, of Maribel, died unexpectedly Friday, Oct. 17, 2003, at a Green Bay hospital.
He was born Feb. 13, 1941, in the town of Morrison to the late Walter and Catherine Steffel Genz.
Edwin married Diane Marshek Aug. 30, 1969, at Zion Lutheran Church, Wayside.
Edwin was formerly employed by Brillion Iron Works and farmed in the Maribel area. He served his country with the U.S. Army.
Survivors include his wife: Diane; children: Kasey Genz and friend Tammi; Chris Genz; Kendall and Kelly Genz; Lisa Genz and friend Elmer; Keith Marshek and friend Sue; and special friend Lori Malvitz; seven grandchildren; two brothers and three sisters-in-law; John and Wilma, Antigo; Herbert and Joan, Beaver Dam; Florence Genz, Green Bay; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death by three brothers: Donald, Walter Jr., and Rudolph.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct 22, 2003, at Nickel Funeral Home, Morrison. Funeral service will be 4 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Carl Ehrfurth officiating. Entombment in Knollwood Memorial Park, Manitowoc.
