Mrs. Milda Groelle, 84, of 1610 Hamilton St., Manitowoc, died Thursday evening, December 14, 1989 at her residence.
Funeral services will be 1:30 pm Monday at First Reformed United Church of Christ. Rev. Steve Schuette will officiate and interment will be in Knollwood Mausoleum.
Mrs. Groelle was born December 20, 1904 at Newtonburg, Wisconsin, daughter of the late Carl and Ida Lehmkuhl Jacob. She attended schools in the Newtonburg area.
She married Walter Groelle, June 24, 19 at Manitowoc.
Mrs. Groelle was a member of First Reformed United Church of Christ; Ladies Aide; Memorial Hospital Auxiliary and the Germaine Society. She was employed for many years at National Tinsel Company.
Survivors include her husband, Walter; two brothers, Herbert Jacob of Manitowoc and Arthur Jacob of Desert Hot Springs, California; two sisters, Etta Schmill of Manitowoc and Viola Buss of Manitowoc; three grandchildren, Allen Peckham of Appleton, Deborah Irinaga of San Francisco and Timothy Rhode of Silver Springs, Maryland and two great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, a daughter and a brother.
Friends may call at the church on Monday from noon to the time of services. There will be no Sunday visitation. Memorials may be made to First Reformed United Church of Christ or The American Cancer Society. Jens Funeral Home, Manitowoc, assisted the family with funeral arrangements.
