Anna L. Hessel, age 92, formerly of North Ridge Medical and Rehabilitation Center, Manitowoc, passed away Thursday, May 11, 1995, at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center. Funeral services will be held Monday, May 15, 1995, at 10 a.m. at Knollwood Mausoleum Chapel. Rev. Robert Simensen will officiate with entombment at Knollwood Mausoleum. She was born June 12, 1902, in Tisch Mills, daughter of the late John and Mary Tuma Dworak. She attended schools in the Tisch Mills area. She married Eli Hessel September 7, 1921, in Menominee, Michigan. Survivors include two daughters and one son-in-law, Sylvia and Eugene Wenndorf, Manitowoc, Lorrain Uek, Manitowoc; two grandchildren; one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eli, two brothers and one sister. There will be no Sunday evening visitation. Jens Funeral Home, Manitowoc, is assisting the family with the funeral arrangements.
