FERDINAND SCHISEL

Ferdinand Schisel, 86, of Rt. 1, Cato, died Tuesday at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be at 9:15am Friday at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, and at
10am at St. Michael Catholic Church, Whitelaw. The Rev. E.A. Radey will officiate and
burial will be in the church cemetery. Mr. Schisel was born April 21, 1884 in Town of
Cato, son of the late Joseph and Frances Brandl Schisel. He married Mary Reindl Oct. 21,
1906 at Whitelaw. After their marriage they resided at Antigo for four years before returning
to Town of Cato, where they operated a farm until retirement in 1947. They celebrated their
golden wedding anniversary in 1958. Mrs. Schisel preceded him in death Sept. 22, 1963.
Survivors include three sons, Clarence of Manitowoc, Herbert of Valders and Orie of Rt.
1 Cato; four daughters, Mrs. Ted (Marjorie) Kaminski of Manitowoc, Mrs. Alex (Mabel)
Fischer of Rt. 2 Manitowoc, Mrs. Frank (Dorothy) Augustine of Mishicot and Mrs. Elroy
(Marion) Mull of Two Rivers, a brother Louis of Antigo; 26 grandchildren and 33 great
grandchildren. A daughter, two sons, a sister and eleven brothers preceded him in death.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 3pm Thursday where a rosary will be recited at 3pm.
