Kathryn L. Jape, age 78, of 2005 Division St., Manitowoc, died Thursday, Oct. 12, 2006, at St. Mary's Home, Manitowoc.
Kathryn was born Jan. 21, 1928, in Manitowoc, daughter of the late John and Louise (née Jung) Rezach. She attended schools in Manitowoc and graduated with the class of 1946 from Lincoln High School.
She married Edwin L. Jape on May 8, 1947, at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Manitowoc. He preceded her in death on Jan. 3, 2003.
She was a registered nurse for 30 years until her retirement in 1989.
Survivors include three children: Thomas (Carol) Jape, Aurora, Colo.; Mary (Curtis) Kenney, Durham, N.C.; Michael (Julie) Jape, Waupaca; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two brothers and one sister-in-law: Howard Rezach, Manitowoc; Thomas (Jenny) Rezach; Waco, Texas; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband: Edwin; and one sister-in-law: Janet Rezach.
Memorial services will be held at Knollwood Chapel Mausoleum, 1500 Highway 310, Manitowoc, with entombment at the Mausoleum.
