She was born on Oct, 22, 1931 in Appleton, daughter of the late Herman and Sarah (Lai) Joas. She married Leonard J. Juckem on June 5, 1952 at St. Mary Church in Stockbridge. She had farmed with her husband in the Town of Chilton.
She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Chilton, the Christian Mother's, the Chilton Eagles Club Auxiliary and the Square Dance club. She had served on the New Hope Center Board of Directors.
Survivors include her husband, Leonard; two daughters and sons-in-laws Lillian and William Rach, Bolingbrook, Ill.; Kathleen and Patrick Miller, Chilton; six sons and three daughters-in-law, Robert Juckem, Marinette; Bill and Ann Juckem, Chilton; Kenneth and Susan Juckem, Chilton; Ronald Juckem, Hilbert; Larry and Tammy Juckem, Brillion; Dan Juckem, Fresno, Calif.; 12 grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Lillie and Earl Stache, Potter; Rosemary Joas, Oshkosh; and a brother and sister-in-law, Herman and Laurel Joan, Green Bay.
She was preceded in death by a brother, George Joas.
Funeral services were held Monday, March 18, 1996 at St. Mary Catholic Church, with the Rev. Fred Peters, S.D.S. as officiant. Entombment will be in Knollwood Mausoleum. Wieting Funeral Home in Chilton was in charge of arrangements.
