ROGER J. KADOW

Roger J. Kadow, age 81, of 217 Randolph St., Mishicot, entered into eternal life Monday evening, Aug. 24, 2009, at Shady Lane in Manitowoc.

He was born Dec. 9, 1927, in Mishicot, to the late Grover and Nora Stueck Kadow and has been a lifelong area resident. He was a graduate of the Mishicot High School, graduating with the class of 1954. He married the former Carol Melanson on May 22, 1954, at the rectory of St. Lukes Catholic Church in Two Rivers. In 1966 he earned his Master Plumbers License. Roger owned and operated Kadow Plumbing and Heating in Mishicot, and was a second generation Master Plumber, and is followed by his son Gerald as a third generation Master Plumber. He was a member of St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Mishicot, and was a member of the Master Builders Association where he served as past president. He also was a member of the Mishicot Lion's Club, and also served as a past president of the club, and belonged to the Mishicot High School Alumni Association. He and his wife Carol, enjoyed traveling for many years, and spending a great amount of time at their cottage at Sand Bay, spending time with their family and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by two sisters, Marie Ulbrich, and Margie Alten.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Aug. 28, 2009, at St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Mishicot with the Rev. Robert Johannes officiating with entombment to follow in the Knollwood Mausoleum.

Relatives and friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the Lambert-Eckert Funeral Home in Mishicot. Visitation will continue after 9 a.m. Friday at St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church, until the time of service at 10:30 a.m.

The Kadow family would like to express a very special thank you to Dr. Pradeep Giriyappa for his special care and concern's shown to Roger and our family during his illness, and to Rev. Robert Johannes for all of his special prayers and visits. Your kindness will always be remembered.

CEMETERY SERVICES AT THE HOLY CROSS CATHOLIC CHURCH PARISH HALL.
