Mrs. Mathilda Born, 87, of Cleveland, died Thursday morning at Sheboygan Memorial Hospital where she was a patient seven weeks.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at St. James United Church of Christ, Spring Valley, the Rev. Merlin Huebschman officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Born, the former Mathilda Fiedler, was born April 23, 1878, in the Town of Meeme, daughter of the late Robert and Margaret Bohne Fielder. She was married to Louis Born Nov. 7, 1915, and the couple located on the Fiedler homestead farm until his death March 20, 1933. Mrs. Born then lived with her sister, Mrs. Mary Born until 1940 when she located at Cleveland.

She is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Richard Lutze and Mrs. Mary Born, of Cleveland and Mrs. John Roethel, of Sheboygan Falls, a brother, William, of Rt. 1, Cleveland, and nieces and nephews. Three brothers and two sisters preceded her in death.

Friends may call at Stoltenburg Funeral Chapel, Cleveland, after 3 p.m. Saturday until 11 a.m. Sunday and at the church after noon.
