HENRY FIEDLER

Henry Fiedler, 82, of Rt. 1, Cleveland, died Tuesday at Memorial Hospital, Sheboygan, where he had been confined four weeks.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at St. James Evangelical and Reformed Church, Spring Valley. The Rev. E.L. Hennig will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.

Mr. Fiedler was born in the Town of Meeme Sept. 30, 1876, son of the late Robert and Margaret Bohne Fiedler. He married Emma Rowe April 2, 1899, and the couple lived a short time at Sheboygan before moving to the homestead farm 50 years ago.

A member of the Spring Valley church, he served as its elder for a number of years and as assessor for the Town of Meeme 12 years.

Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Herman Riehn and Mrs. Herbert Peronne of Howard Grove and Mrs. Norman Korb of the Town of Frnaklin; a son, Walter on the homestead farm; two brothers, William of Cleveland and Robert of Sheboygan Falls; five sisters, _________(too light)…Mrs. Richard _____, __________, Mrs. Mary Born of Cleveland and Mrs. John Roethel of Sheboygan Falls; eight grand-children and six great grandchildren. His wife and a sister preceded him in death.

Friends may call at Stoltenburg Funeral Chapel, Cleveland, after 2 p.m. Friday and after noon Saturday at the church.
