FLORENCE A. PODRABSKY
Florence A. Podrabsky, age 83, of 2459 Paul Rd, Manitowoc, died Friday afternoon, October 8, 1999, at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center, Manitowoc.
Florence was born May 20, 1916, in Menchalville, Wis., daughter of the late Joseph and Anna Brey Stedl.
On November 3, 1936, she married Joseph Podrabsky in Manitowoc.
Florence loved to sew, crochet, cook, and garden. She also was an avid reader and enjoyed traveling. Florence was a loving, caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Her family and many friends will miss her dearly. Florence was employed at SS. Kresge Department Store, Manitowoc.
Survivors include: Gena Schmicker, New York City, Joseph Blair Schmicker, Hanover, New Hampshire; five sisters and two brothers-in-law, Marie Guex, Mishicot, Claire Kath, Manitowoc, Gertrude Rivest, Green Bay, Helen and Bob Princel, Mishicot, Vernice and Earl Keehan, Maribel; two brothers, Clarence Stedl, Menchalville, Michael Stedl, Menchalville; two sisters-in-law, Delores Stedl, Whitelaw, Arleen Stedl, Little Chute. Florence is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Walter, Joseph and Victor Stedl; two brothers-in-law, Ernest Guex and Melvin Rivest.
Funeral Services will be held at the Pfeffer Funeral Home, 10 a.m. at Holy Innocents Catholic Church, Manitowoc with entombment to follow at Knollwood Mausoleum, town of Kossuth.
