Funeral services for GLENDA YVONNE "CHARLIE" PIERCE, 72, of Bossier City will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, March 21, 2013, at Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe. Bro. Thomas W. Patton will be officiating assisted by Bro. Cecil Herrington. Interment will follow at Hasley Cemetery, West Monroe under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.

Miss. Pierce was born August 23, 1940 in Jackson Parish and passed away March 18, 2013 in Bossier City. Miss Pierce was retired from Bell South with 27 years of service and held positions in operator services, engineering, frame tech, and plant assigners. She was a member of West Heights Missionary Baptist Church, West Monroe, for several years and a member in faith at Cypress Baptist Church in Bossier City. Miss Pierce is preceded in death by her parents, H.J. and Gertrude Pierce, and one brother, Ray [Leroy] Pierce.

She is survived by two sisters, Margaret Biggers and Jo Pierce Gordon & husband, Hubert, Two brothers, Riley Pierce & wife Betty, Steven Pierce & wife Debra. She also has numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members.

Pallbearers will be Hubert Gordon, Gregory Stewart, Stephen Clampit, Andy Johnson, Don May, and Dale Mercer.

Visitation will be held Wednesday from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe.
