A native of Holly Springs, daughter of the late Robert F. and Cecila Gosnell Blackwell, she was a homemaker and a member of Greer First Baptist Church where she was a former Sunday school teacher.
Surviving is one son, John R. Stewart, Jr., of Woodruff; one brother, Eldridge Blackwell of Greer; three sisters, Hilda Morris, Tena (Ernestine) Scroggs and Iva Wood all of Greer; one grandson, Joshua Stewart and wife, Penny and one great-granddaughter, Madison.
Mrs. Stewart was predeceased by four brothers, Durham Blackwell, Grover Blackwell, Woodrow Blackwell and Virgil Blackwell and four sisters, Allaree Armstrong, Maggie Armstrong, Bertha Anders and Ruth Smith.
Funeral services will be held 4:00 p.m. Monday at The Wood Mortuary Chapel, conducted by Dr. Rick Ezell and Mrs. Dottie Bryson. Burial will follow in Wood Memorial Park.
Visitation will be held 2:30 p.m. until 3:45 p.m. Monday at the mortuary prior to the service.
Honorary escort will be the Senior Adult Sunday School.
The families are at their respective homes.
