Saturday night at eleven o'clock at the residence of Andrew Haben, occurred the death of Mrs. J. B. Last. The deceased was thirty-five years of age at the time of her demise. She had been suffering for about a year past with a disease of the glands, and her death was not wholly unexpected. Mrs. Last was a daughter of the late Peter McCourt, and was formerly of Green Bay, though latterly a resident of Denver. She leaves, besides a husband, who is now agent of the United States Express Company at Green Bay, eight children whose ages range from one to fifteen years. The funeral will occur Wednesday morning from St. Mary's Catholic church, and the remains will be interred in this city. Telegrams received from New York City and Denver are to the effect that Mrs. W. H. Courtney, Peter McCourt, Jr., and Miss Claudia McCourt will attend the funeral.
