He is the son of David M. & Anna A. Batman Stephenson, born in Crawford County, In. on January 23, 1906, he was the only survivor of triplets.
He died at 6:23 p.m. Monday June 23, 1980 at the Harrison County Hospital in Corydon, In. after entering at 3 o'clock in the afternoon. He had been in failing health for some time.
He was a retired farmer and employee of Tower Orchards in Leavenworth, In., and was a member of the Dillman United Methodist Church.
He was survived by his wife, the former Eunice F. Boss, whom he married at Crawford County, In. in 1933, at the time of this writing Eunice just celebrated her 103 birthday on April 10, 2013.
Other survivors were two daughters, Mrs. Lois Stephenson, of English, In., and Mrs. Wayne (Barbara) Wiseman, of Corydon, In.; a son, Dencil Stephenson, of De Soto, Tex., and four grandchildren.
