Charles Franklin "Brad" Bradbury, 70, of Pleasant Hill, passed away April 9, 2003. Funeral services were held April 12 from the chapel of Hood Funeral Home, with burial with full military honors in Crossville City Cemetery. Bro. Mike Garrett officiated, with special music by Lisa Pharris.
Mr. Bradbury was born Feb. 9, 1933 in Pleasant Hill. A "Dr. May baby," he was the son of Charles Hunter and Gladys Florence Bright Bradbury.
He was well remembered as No. 16 on the Pleasant Hill High School basketball team. He was a mechanic, having his own service stations in Crossville and Elyria, OH. He later retired as a mechanic for the city of Elyria. Mr. Bradbury was an Army veteran serving our country during the Korean War and a member of the VFW Post 5025. He was also a member of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his daughters and sons-in-law, Tambrey and Joseph Linden of Seville, OH and Marcelle and Louie Tammaro of Pleasant Hill; their mother, Patricia Basone of Seville, OH; brother, Samuel Bradbury of Crossville; sisters, Bernice Osburn of Roanoke Rapids, NC, Betty Kemmer and Doris Pharris, both of Crossville, and Harriet Coe of Phoenix, AZ; and grandchildren, Jason Linden and wife, Laurel, of Rittman, OH, Megan Linden of Seville, OH, Jessica Tammaro of Phoenix, AZ and Louie and Anthony Tammaro of Pleasant Hill.
